Joel Klatt will be in Ann Arbor on Saturday, as he will be on the call for the Michigan and Washington game with Gus Johnson and Jenny Taft. While he won’t make a prediction on that game, there are plenty of other big college football matchups that he can predict a winner.

One of the biggest games of the weekend is Ole Miss traveling to Athens to take on Georgia. Neither team played its best football last week. Ole Miss had to hang on to get a home victory against Washington State, while Georgia was down double-digits late to Auburn in the first half before coming back.

Under Kirby Smart, the Bulldogs have earned the reputation of being a team that makes great adjustments at the half. To beat Georgia, Klatt believes the team has to put together a full 4 quarters.

“I find it hard to believe that Ole Miss is going to be the team that can actually go in there and kill Georgia in a 60-minute affair, “Klatt said on his show. “This Georgia team just has nine lives. It doesn’t matter the lead that the opposition has. They come back and make plays late in the game.”

The Rebels are undefeated on the season, but their only big win is against LSU.

Klatt thinks they will play better than they did last week against Washington State, but he believes Georgia gets the win.

“Ultimately, I just don’t think Ole Miss is that team. Ole Miss’s resume is not that great,” Klatt said. “A lot of one-possession games. Georgia is 50-2 in their last 52 game between the hedges. Listen, I’m going to say Georgia wins the game, 27-24.”

The Bulldogs will also be looking to exact some revenge, as the Rebels dominated the matchup in Oxford last year by a score of 28-10.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Georgia is a 7-point favorite at DraftKings.
