FOX analyst Joel Klatt has finalized his predictions for the 2025 College Football Playoff.
Klatt published his picks on Monday, just a few days before the start of the upcoming campaign. His 12-team CFP field is anchored by 8 teams who come from the SEC and Big Ten (4 apiece). The rest of the field includes 1 ACC program (Clemson), 1 Big 12 team (Kansas State), 1 group-of-5 representative Boise State and independent Notre Dame.
Out of the SEC, Klatt is picking Texas, Georgia, Alabama and LSU to reach the postseason. In the Big Ten, Klatt is projecting Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon to make the cut.
Here’s a look at Klatt’s field, including where he has all 12 teams seeded:
Kansas State is perhaps Klatt’s boldest call. The Wildcats are +470 to reach the College Football Playoff in 2025, according to the latest odds from FanDuel.
Penn State as the No. 1 seed also runs counter to the betting markets. At BetMGM, the Nittany Lions are +700 to be the No. 1 overall seed in the Playoff this year.
