Joel Klatt projects when Jahmyr Gibbs will be one of the best backs in the NFL

Joel Klatt is high on Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs entering the NFL Draft, and has even projected Gibbs to be one of the best backs in the league in 3 or 4 years.
Of Klatt’s top 50 players in the NFL Draft, Gibbs is ranked No. 18, and Klatt said Gibbs is a dream for a creative offensive coordinator because of what he provides in every area of the game.
“The ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, he’s so smooth catching the ball out of the backfield, he’s explosive in the open field, he breaks tackles,” Klatt said. “It’s way too easy to say, ‘He’s an every-down back,’ he’s also great at everything. Watch him as he is catching the football, he catches it without that little jump or hesitation.”
Gibbs could be on any offense in the NFL and be productive.
“I think he’s going to be one of the best backs in the entire league in probably 3 or 4 years, and that’s a guy that I think can get the job done,” Klatt said.
