Week 7 of the 2025 college football season saw a ton of turmoil and commotion across the country, with several big-time matchups featuring highly ranked opponents shaking up the pecking order heading into Week 8.
FOX college football analyst Joel Klatt sat down on Monday to reveal his updated top-10 rankings following all the action from this past Saturday, and it featured some interesting selections.
Klatt slotted Ohio State in as his No. 1 team in the nation following their most recent road win over Illinois, saying that it’s “pretty clear right now” that the Buckeyes are the top team in the country.
After that, Klatt has the Indiana Hoosiers at No. 2, who he said currently have the best win in the country following their upset of the Oregon Ducks on the road last weekend.
Klatt then has Miami at No. 3, stating that while he thinks the Canes and the Hoosiers are close, Miami just doesn’t have a win that stacks up with Indiana’s victory against the Ducks.
After that, Klatt’s rankings are as follows:
- 4. Texas A&M Aggies
- 5. Alabama Crimson Tide
- 6. Texas Tech Red Raiders
- 7. Oregon Ducks
- 8. Georgia Bulldogs
- 9. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
- 10. Ole Miss Rebels
