Justin Rogers is going pro after four seasons of SEC football.

Rogers, who began his career at Kentucky before transferring to Auburn, thanked coaches at both schools in his announcement for the 2024 NFL Draft.

“I want to thank God for covering and protecting my family and granting me the knowledge and skills necessary to play this game,” Rogers wrote in a note posted to social media. “I owe a special thanks to my mother, family, and support system for always standing by me and unconditionally supporting and loving me.

“Special appreciation to Coach Stoops and Stu for allowing me to live out my dream of playing college football in the SEC. My teammates/ brothers, and coaches have been instrumental in motivating me to become the best version of myself. BBN will forever hold a special place in my heart.

“A sincere thank you to Coach Freeze and the Auburn Family for their warm welcome. The indescribable love and support I’ve experienced in just one short year here is truly remarkable. Thanks to my teammates and coaches for making this time special. WDE!

“With that being said, I will be declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.”

In his season at Auburn, Rogers played in all 13 games. He recorded 17 total tackles with 2 TFLs and 1 sack. He had a season-high 4 tackles against Ole Miss.

Originally from Detroit, Rogers landed at UK in the 2020 season. Rogers never redshirted, but the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver gave him the option of returning for a fifth season in 2024.

At Kentucky, Rogers played in 33 games from 2020-22, logging 60 tackles with 5 TFLs.
