Kamarion Franklin, elite 2024 SEC DL target, sets commitment date and 5 finalists

Kamarion Franklin is ready to make his college decision. After picking up 36 scholarship offers, the blue-chip defensive lineman out of Mississippi has narrowed things down to 5 teams just over a week out from his commitment.
Auburn, Ole Miss and Tennessee made the cut for Franklin’s final 5. If he doesn’t play in the SEC, Franklin will go to Florida State or Miami. He is set to make the big announcement on Aug. 19.

A Lake Cormorant High standout, Franklin is listed as measuring 6-5, 265 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Franklin is rated 4-stars, the No. 1 recruit in the state of Mississippi, No. 8 defensive lineman and No. 45 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.
Franklin has been busy taking visiting teams this summer. He has documented his trips to SEC teams on social media.
