Kansas starting LB game-time decision for Border War against Mizzou, per CFB insider

Heading into the Border War against Missouri, Kansas will have a starting linebacker that’ll be a game-time decision.
Senior Bangally Kamara sustained a non-contact injury during practice that leaves his status in doubt, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Kamara is likely to dress and warm up for Kansas and then a decision will be made.

Kamara is in his sixth college season. He spent his first 4 seasons at Pitt and was at South Carolina last season before transferring to Kansas. During his career, Kamara has compiled 128 total tackles, 5 sacks, a forced fumble, and an interceptions.
Kamara arrived at Kansas as the No. 2 linebacker and No. 70 overall prospect in the transfer portal, according to 247Sports. The Ohio native was the No. 8 in-state recruit and No. 21 outside linebacker in his high school class.
Kansas is 2-0 after a pair of home victories to begin the season. Kansas defeated Fresno State 31-7 in Week 0 and then routed Wagner 46-7 in Week 1.
Missouri is 1-0 with a 61-6 win vs. Central Arkansas.
This is Kansas’ first matchup vs. Missouri in the Border War since 2011. Missouri leads the all-time series 57-54-9 vs. Kansas. Kansas is aiming to snap a 3-game losing streak vs. Missouri.
Kansas vs. Missouri is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff from Memorial Stadium and will be televised on ESPN2.
