Kavosiey Smoke, Kentucky RB transfer, announces Pac-12 commitment

Kavosiey Smoke has found a new home, and the former Kentucky running back made the announcement on social media.

Smoke, who is listed at 5-foot-9 and 209 pounds from Wetumpka, Alabama, committed to Deion Sanders and Colorado.

Over 5 seasons with the Wildcats, Smoke carried the ball 291 times for 1,583 yards, which ranks 21st on UK’s career rushing list, and 13 touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per carry, which also ranks in the top 10 in school history.

This past season, Smoke played in 12 games, and started the first 4 games, as he had 59 carries for 277 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 4.7 yards per carry.

Smoke made his pledge a week before the 45-day transfer portal window is set to close on Jan. 18, with a second portal window to open from May 1-15 following spring practice.
