The Kentucky Wildcats made a big addition to their 2020 recruiting class on Monday after a sluggish start to the cycle.

On Monday, 4-star DT Lamar Goods announced that he would be committing to Mark Stoops’s program — only the second player in the Wildcats’ class.

As you can see below, Goods — a Connecticut native — announced his decision via Twitter:

Per the 247Sports composite, Goods is the No. 29 defensive tackle in the class of 2020 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Connecticut.

Goods is the second player in the Wildcats’ 2020 recruiting class, which ranked No. 14 in the SEC and No. 77 nationally prior to Goods’ commitment, per 247Sports.
