Kentucky stays hot on recruiting trail, adds commitment from 2026 LB

Kentucky continues to stay hot on the recruiting trail.
Mark Stoops picked up a new commitment from Max Mohring. The linebacker from Pennsylvania took to social media to announce his verbal pledge to Kentucky.

Out of Malvern (Pennsylvania) Prep, Mohring is listed as measuring 6-3 and 215 pounds. Mohring does not yet have a recruiting rating from 247Sports or Rivals.

Mohring had scholarship offers from UCF, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Navy, Pennsylvania and Princeton. He visited UCF on May 30 before checking out UK this past weekend.
The Wildcats now have 7 verbal commitments in their 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 69 nationally on the Composite. Stoops’ staff has had a busy June, landing 6 commitments. Four of those commitments have now come since Wednesday.
