Alabama’s offense will be without a key offseason addition on Saturday against Utah State as Tyler Harrell was seen on the sidelines before the game in sweatpants and wearing a walking boot on his right foot.

Harrell dealt with a foot sprain for most of camp ahead of the season. Harrell was expected to be one of 2 high impact transfers along with Georgia WR Jermaine Burton.

Known for his speed, Harrell at Louisville caught 18 passes for 523 yards and 6 touchdowns over 13 games during the 2021 season. Harrell was clocked at 4.24 in the 40-yard dash at a Louisville Pro Day in 2021.

For his career at Louisville, Harrell played in 17 games, and made 20 receptions for 559 yards and 6 touchdowns. He caught 2 passes as a freshman in 2018 before redshirting, and then appeared in one game in 2019. He led UofL with a 29.1 yards per catch average in 2021, and made 18 receptions for 523 yards. Harrell added a team-high 6 touchdowns and a team-long 92-yard reception as a redshirt sophomore.
