The Florida Gators have quickly shaken off an early season loss to Texas A&M and now find themselves back in the College Football Playoff discussion.
Under coach Dan Mullen, the Gators have one of the best offenses in the country, and are fresh off a big win over Arkansas on Saturday night.
After the win, Mullen’s coaching record through 32 games at Florida is 26-6. Not bad. Also interesting is that that’s exactly what record Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer had through 32 games:
Dan Mullen is 26-6 in his first 32-games for the Gators.
That is same 32-game start for both Steve Spurrier and Urban Meyer.

Obviously, when you’re comparing favorably to those legends, it’s a good thing. They both brought titles to Gainesville. Mullen is being counted on to do the same.
Florida is the likely SEC East representative in the SEC Championship Game. We’ll see if the Gators can win and advance to the Playoff.
