Kirk Herbstreit on Georgia: ‘They are, right now, a juggernaut’

It’s a good time to be a Georgia fan right now, as the Bulldogs are 8-0 and sitting at No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Ahead of a game against South Carolina this weekend, the Bulldogs are in a position where they could possibly clinch the SEC East.
On the “Herbstreit & Fitzsimmons” podcast with Ian Fitzsimmons, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit said he thinks the Bulldogs are a juggernaut right now (via 247Sports):
โEnd of the day, Georgiaโs heading in clearly a great direction,โ Herbstreit said. โYou look at their stats and their efficiency on offense and defense. They are, right now, a juggernaut. Itโs going to be tough for really anybody to match up with them.โ
Herbstreit cited the fact that LB Roquan Smith was upset that the Bulldogs allowed a late touchdown in a 42-7 win over Florida last weekend as a sign of what Georgia is all about this season:
โItโs just a team thatโs on a mission right now. He has his blinders on,โ Herbstreit said. โHeโs not worried about 42-7. Heโs worried about what (their) goals were. Clearly a goal was to shut them out.
โI love to hear him talk. I love to know that Georgia is in good hands when it comes to leadership of that team through a playerโs perspective. We know about (coach) Kirby (Smart) and what heโs trying to create there and heโs done it very, very quickly.โ
Georgia still has a tough matchup at Auburn on the schedule in a couple of weeks, but if the Bulldogs keep playing as well as they are right now, an undefeated regular season isn’t out of the question.
