Kirk Herbstreit highlights 2 SEC programs in list of top-performing teams for Week 11

Kirk Herbstreit has unveiled his list of top-performing teams for Week 11.
A couple of SEC programs, Ole Miss and Alabama, earned shoutouts this week. The Rebels landed the No. 1 spot on Herbstreit’s list for their win over Georgia. Alabama slotted in at No. 3 as a result of its blowout victory in Death Valley on Saturday night.
Georgia Tech, Kansas, Colorado, Air Force and Virginia also made the cut this week. Here’s the full list:

For Ole Miss, it was a program-defining win that could ultimately ensure the Rebels reach the College Football Playoff for the first time ever in 2024. Ole Miss will likely be heavy favorites in its final 2 remaining games against Florida and Mississippi State.
Alabama’s win over LSU also goes a long way toward making sure that the Crimson Tide will be back in the CFP this season. After an up-and-down start to the Kalen DeBoer era, the Crimson Tide have now won back-to-back games in dominant fashion.
The updated College Football Playoff rankings will be revealed on Tuesday evening.
