Kirk Herbstreit will definitely be racking up the flight miles in Week 7.
In addition to be on site for College GameDay for No. 7 Indiana at No. 3 Oregon, the ESPN analyst will then head to Dallas as part of ABC’s broadcasting team for the Red River Rivalry between No. 6 Oklahoma and Texas.
College GameDay will conclude at about 12 p.m. ET on Saturday in Eugene. Just 3.5 hours later, Oklahoma and Texas will kick off in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
The last time GameDay came to Eugene was last season, when Oregon edged Ohio State 32-31.
Texas has taken some of the luster off the rivalry matchup with Oklahoma after getting upset 29-21 at Florida in Week 6. The Sooners shut out Kent State 44-0 on Saturday, as they were clearly focused on the task at hand and not looking ahead. However, interestingly ESPN analytics currently gives Texas a 60.9 percent chance of winning on Saturday.
Indiana at Oregon is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday from Autzen Stadium and will be televised on CBS. Oregon leads the all-time series 2-1. Indiana won the last meeting 30-24 in Eugene on Sept. 11, 2004.
Oklahoma vs. Texas is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday from the Cotton Bowl (ABC). Texas won last season’s meeting 34-3 and leads the all-time series 64-51-5.
