Lee Corso is appearing on College GameDay for the final time in his legendary career on Saturday morning ahead of a showdown between No. 1 Texas and No. 3 Ohio State.
He’ll retire after donning the headgear 1 last time, back where it all started in Columbus.
Interestingly, though, he doesn’t have either of those teams even making it as far as the semifinals of the College Football Playoff this year. Early on during the show on Saturday, Corso revealed he has a final 4 of Penn State, Notre Dame, Clemson and… LSU.
In fact, Corso has the LSU Tigers winning the whole thing, earning their first national championship under Brian Kelly:
LSU and Clemson will meet up at Clemson tonight in the ESPN Game of the Week. Corso thinks the 2 groups of Tigers will have a rematch in the CFP semifinals, with LSU getting the win.
In the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, Corso thinks LSU will take down Penn State to win its first national title since 2019 under Ed Orgeron.
Will Kelly and the Tigers prove Corso right? We’ll find out starting tonight in a true road game for the Bayou Bengals at Clemson. The atmosphere is going to be electric in a battle for Death Valley.
