Leonard Fournette promised to give back to the South Carolina community, which was ravaged by historic flooding last month.

Fournette and LSU football will begin a charity auction on Saturday at 7 a.m. local time with all proceeds going to South Carolina’s flood relief fund. The jersey Fournette wore in last month’s win over the Gamecocks will be part of a memorabilia package that includes helmets signed by Les Miles and Steve Spurrier.

โ€œHaving been through a similar situation with my family during Hurricane Katrina when I was 10 years old, this is something that I wanted to do to help those in need,โ€ Fournette said. โ€œThe generosity of people helped my family make it through Hurricane Katrina. Iโ€™m hopeful that the money raised with this auction can make a difference for those flood victims in South Carolina.โ€

Fournette will sign his game-worn jersey.
