What LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron said during his weekly news conference
LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron’s debut was a resounding 42-7 thumping of Missouri last Saturday. Now, the Louisiana native faces his the first road test of his tenure with the Tigers.
Orgeron will take LSU into the Swamp for an important SEC showdown with No. 18 Florida at 12:00 p.m. ET Saturday. He has quickly become a fan and media darling in the week since taking over for Les Miles, but he’ll ultimately be judged by his ability to win big games.
Orgeron previewed the game Monday during his weekly news conference, a light-hearted affair that broke into laughter several times. He updated the status of injured running back Leonard Fournette and touched on several other topics.
