Corey Kiner, an LSU running back, shared his appreciation for the opportunity to be at LSU, but announced on social media on Monday that he’s placed his name in the transfer portal.
Kiner, who has dealt with an ankle injury and didn’t participate in Saturday’s practice, is looking to play elsewhere.
The 5-foot-9 and 217-pounder from Cincinnati, Ohio was a notable recruit in the class of 2021, and along with Armoni Goodwin, the duo was called โThunder and Lightningโ by their fellow teammates.
Kiner was a between-the-tacklers running back with some speed to get to the edge.
Kiner had 79 carries last season for 323 yards and 2 touchdowns as LSU’s second-leading rusher.
