Florida coach Jim McElwain met with the media on Monday for the first time since the Gators completed Thursday’s spring scrimmage.
Understandably, there was a good deal of interest in the performance of the quarterbacks.
Former transfers Austin Appleby and Luke Del Rio are battling early enrollee Feleipe Franks for the starting job that was vacated by Will Grier following his 2015 suspension and subsequent transfer.
Here’s what McElwain had to say on Monday:
"I thought all the quarterbacks had their moments, good and bad. The consistency was pretty darn good," McElwain said.
