Throughout training camp, everyone has been raving about Chiefs rookie wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

He showed why Saturday night scoring his first NFL touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.

With the Chiefs driving and at the 17-yard line, head coach Andy Reid dialed up a jet sweep pass for the speedster Hardman. He took the reception and nobody even touched him on his way to the end zone.

That’s ridiculous speed.

The Chiefs drafted Hardman in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

During his three seasons at Georgia, Hardman’s speed was second to none. He recorded 961 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns. He also added two rushing touchdowns. He was way underused in Georgia’s offense.

In addition to playing offense, Hardman added nearly 600 punt return yards with one touchdown and 875 kickoff return yards.

Hardman may become one of the most versatile weapons in the NFL.
