Michigan State fans don’t like Michigan, and the Spartans’ fans will never turn down a chance to go after their rivals. The Wolverines didn’t help themselves in Week 1, as they were able to win on a Hail Mary against Western Michigan in a game with a clock controversy. The Wolverines looked they had lost as the clock ran out, but the play went to a review and one second was added before the game-winning touchdown.

People across the country have been calling the game rigged and taking shots at the Wolverines. On Wednesday, a Michigan State professor posted a video making fun of the Wolverines, saying “At Michigan State when the clock hits zero… you’re not getting an extra second.”

The professor went on to say that since the Wolverines play Oklahoma this week, ratings played a role in the controversy. For the Wolverines, they are going to have to deal with the joke because they had no business needing a Hail Mary to win the game against Western Michigan.

The home game against Oklahoma is a big opportunity for the Wolverines to prove it was just a fluke in Week 1.
