The Bedlam Series is a storied rivalry in college football history. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have faced off 115 times in a series that dates back to 1904.

Both schools are currently in the Big 12, but that’s going to change in the near future. While the Cowboys will remain in the conference, the Sooners will be moving to the SEC in 2025.

Does that mean the Bedlam Series could be coming to an end? Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy seems to think that may be the case.

“I don’t think it’s a realistic thing that’s going to happen based on the business side of Power 5 conference football,” Gundy said, per Brett McMurphy of Action Network. “That’s just my opinion. I could be wrong. I’m not getting that from anybody.”

If that ends up being true, then the Sooners and Cowboys may not meet too many more times. The rivals are set to face off Saturday in Stillwater, as Oklahoma is looking for its 7th consecutive victory over Oklahoma State.

The Sooners have dominated the all-time series, as they lead it 90-18-7 over the Cowboys.

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are set to kick off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
