Mike Leach reveals Mississippi State QB Garrett Shrader is moving to a new position

Last year, true freshman QB Garrett Shrader appeared in 10 games for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, playing well in his time behind center.
He threw for 1,170 yards, 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions and also had 587 yards and 6 scores as a rusher.
However, with Stanford graduate transfer QB KJ Costello in place as the starter this fall under new head coach Mike Leach, Shrader will try a different position. Per Leach, Shrader has moved to receiver:

How that move goes this fall remains to be seen, but with how much Leach offenses throw, there should be plenty of receptions to go around.
Will Shrader make an impact at receiver? Or, will his services be needed at quarterback again at some point this fall? We’ll find out starting Sept. 26.
