Mississippi State hoops to face AAC program in ‘Hoopsgiving’ doubleheader

Mississippi State basketball will face off against Tulane on December 9 in a “Hoopsgiving” doubleheader that will also feature Auburn against Indiana. The latter of the 2 games had been previously announced.
The Bulldogs are entering Year 2 under head coach Chris Jans following a successful Year 1. Jans took the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019, finishing with a 21-13 record.

Tulane is fresh off a solid 20-11 season in the AAC, highlighted by wins over Memphis and Cincinnati. Over the summer the Green Wave competed and placed Bronze representing Team USA in the World University Games.
