Mississippi State lands commitment from 2018 WR Johnquarise Patterson

The Mississippi State Bulldogs got their weekend off to a good start, landing a commitment from a 2018 wide receiver.
Mississippi native Johnquarise Patterson, a 2-star recruit from Pearl, decided to pledge his allegiance to the Bulldogs.
The 6-1, 170-pound receiver announced his decision on Twitter late Friday night:

According to 247Sports, Patterson is the No. 330 wide receiver in the class of 2018 and the No. 39 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
Prior to Patterson’s commitment, the Bulldogs had the No. 23 recruiting class in the country and the No. 7 overall class in the SEC (per 247Sports).
