The Missouri Tigers football team earned a coveted commitment for the 2027 recruiting class Sunday, securing a pledge from 3-star defensive back TโAri Miller.
The 6-foot-4 Miller, who is entering his senior season at Miami (Fla). Central High School, chose Mizzou over close to 30 scholarship offers from programs like Georgia, Arkansas, Auburn and Cal. Miller was in Columbia this weekend for an official visit.
The 47th-best defensive back in the 2027 class according to 247 Sports Composite, Miller led the Rockets to a 10-2 record in 2025 and a spot in the Class state quarterfinals. Miller recorded five solo tackles and an interception in his junior season with Miami Central.
Miller is the 15th public commitment to Missouri in the 2027 cycle, a group that includes fellow defensive backs Keiran Govan and Jabarri Lofton.
The Tigers struggled against a top-flight schedule in 2025, finishing 8-5 overall and 4-4 in SEC play โ with all five losses coming to Top 20-ranked teams, including a 13-7 decision against No. 19 Virginia in the Gator Bowl.
Coach Eli Drinkwitzโs Mizzou program begins the 2026 season Sept. 3 at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8 pm ET, SEC Network) and also plays non-conference games Sept. 11 at Kansas (8 pm ET, FOX) and Sept. 19 at home against Troy (12:45 pm ET, SEC Network+) before beginning SEC play Sept. 26 at Mississippi State.
