Missouri picked up as big a win as any team in the country in Week 5, as the Tigers dominated Florida en route to a 45-17 victory.

With the win, the AP Top 25 poll voters took notice and moved Missouri up to No. 14, which is an 11-spot jump from the previous poll. According to Radar360, no team has made that type of leap in the poll in Week 6 or later since Louisville did so in Week 7 in 2023.

The Tigers were a talking point after they stayed in the Top 25 despite losing to Mississippi State last week. However, at least for one week, Missouri proved the voters right as they delivered arguably the best performance of any team in Week 5.

Quarterback Austin Simmons led one an incredible offensive performance, throwing for 340 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Equally as impressive on offense was running back Jamal Roberts, who rushed for 211 yards and three touchdowns. Simmons had the Tigers rolling in the first half, and then Roberts delivered the final blows with long runs of 77 and 80 yards in the second half.

For Missouri, the Tigers will look to build off the win when they host Texas A&M next Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET, and the game will be on ABC.
