Mizzou adds Ohio DL Bralen Henderson via transfer portal

Mizzou has turned to the transfer portal to add some experience to its defensive line for 2025.

Bralen Henderson, a transfer from Ohio, has signed with Mizzou, according to a report from Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports/247Sports.

Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz posted his signature bat signal, indicating a new Mizzou commitment around the time Henderson’s signing was reported.

Henderson is listed as measuring 6-2, 280 pounds. The Pittsburgh native began his career in 2021.

In his first 2 seasons, Henderson only made 6 appearances. He redshirted in 2021 after making only 1 appearance.

Henderson stepped into a larger role the past 2 seasons. He played in 12 games with 2 starts in 2023, recording 21 tackles with 8 solo stops, 2 TFLs and 1 sack.

Last season, Henderson was a 14-game starter. He logged 26 total tackles with 14 solo, 2 TFLs and 1 sack.

Henderson announced his entry into the transfer portal on April 15. On social media, Henderson posted of receiving offers from Ole Miss, Miami, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech and others.
