The No. 23 Missouri Tigers are currently in the middle of another successful season under head coach Eli Drinkwitz, holding a 5-2 record and sitting firmly in the middle of both the SEC and College Football Playoff mix as of this writing.
This sustained success on the gridiron has translated to success on the recruiting trail, with the Tigers currently holding commitments from several of the top players in the 2027 cycle, including 4-star quarterback Braylen Warren.
Warren committed to Drinkwitz and Mizzou in December of last year, and it looks like he intends to stick with that decision after officially shutting down his recruitment on Tuesday afternoon with a post on his personal X account.
The Nebraska native is currently ranked as the No. 18 quarterback and the No. 229 best player overall in the 2027 recruiting cycle, and holds offers from 15 of the nation’s top programs.

The Penn State Nittany Lions made push for the 6’1″, 205-pound gunslinger after losing 3-star quarterback Will Wood to Boston College, but it looks like those efforts were too little, too late.
As things currently stand, Drinkwitz and the Tigers currently hold the No. 31-ranked recruiting class in the current cycle, with Warren being their third-highest ranked high school senior in the fold.
