Mizzou had a special request to Arkansas for Saturday night’s Battle Line Rivalry matchup.

The Tigers and Razorbacks are hooking up for another installment of the rivalry in Week 9, and it’ll feature the 2026 season debut of Mizzou star running back Ahmad Hardy.

With kickoff in Fayetteville slated for 7:45 p.m. ET on SEC Network, the 23rd-ranked Tigers wanted to know if the unranked Razorbacks would let them wear their home jerseys on the road.

In other words, Mizzou wanted to make it a color-on-color show in primetime, like other rivalries sometimes do, like Tennessee and Alabama did a few weeks ago.

According to Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz, Arkansas said no to the Tigers’ request to wear their home uniforms for the matchup, and so there went that idea for Mizzou to show up in dark colors in Fayetteville.

That means the Tigers had to pivot to another uniform option, with the Hogs wearing their home jerseys and wanting to be the only team on the field Saturday night wearing their home jerseys.

What did Mizzou ultimately decide to do in light of being rejected by the Razorabacks?

The Tigers gave their fans the answer on Saturday afternoon, several hours before kickoff. Call it a Halloween surprise, as Mizzou revealed its uniform costume, or combo in this case, for the Halloween night affair in hostile territory.

For Mizzou, white will be the key color, and here is the full unveiling as Mizzou fans got ready to cheer on their team, no matter what colored jersey it was choosing to wear:
