NFL announces host cities for 2021, 2023 drafts

Last month, Nashville hosted the 2019 NFL Draft, and it was one for the ages. Nearly half a million fans flocked to the city to take in the draft festivities.

That’s a high bar for future draft sites, and on Wednesday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced the sites for the 2021 and 2023 drafts.

Las Vegas has already been chosen for the 2020 draft, but on Wednesday, Cleveland was awarded the 2021 draft and Kansas City was named the host for the 2023 event:

It’s interesting that the 2022 draft site has yet to be announced, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport expects a big city to host the event in 2022:

It’ll be interesting to see if any of these next four drafts come close to the atmosphere Nashville provided.
