Nick Fitzgerald made it a Senior Day to remember as the quarterback led Mississippi State to a 52-6 victory over Arkansas.
Fitzgerald had four touchdown passes and ran for another score. That rushing score was his 10th on the season, which made him the third player in SEC history to have 10 rushing TDs and 10 passing TDs in three straight seasons. The other two players are Tim Tebow and Dak Prescott.
Fitzgerald is also the all-time rushing leader among quarterbacks. He extended his career mark to 3,387 yards.
The Bulldogs will get set for their Egg Bowl meeting on Thanksgiving night with Ole Miss.
