Following Alabama’s second spring scrimmage, Nick Saban spoke to the media.

Saban announced that starting offensive lineman Jedrick Wills sprained his ankle during the scrimmage.

“Jedrick Wills sprained his ankle today,” Saban said. “We don’t know the extent of the injury. We’re doing an MRI. He didn’t come back. We’ll see what the deal is when we do an MRI on Monday.”

Saban did say there weren’t any other injuries suffered during the scrimmage.

Wills has 16 career starts, including all 15 games in 2018. He allowed just one sack all of last season. So, he’s a pretty important cog in the Alabama line.
