Nick Reddish is the newest Irish pledge. The talented defensive back from Charlotte, North Carolina announced his plans to play for Marcus Freeman’s program during a live ceremony.
Out of Independence High School, Reddish is listed as measuring 5-11 and 185 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Reddish is rated 3-stars, the No. 31 player in the state of North Carolina, No. 57 safety and No. 681 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.
Reddish drew notable interest across multiple Power 4 conferences. During his recruitment, Reddish collected scholarship offers from 21 programs, including Cincinnati, Duke, Louisville, Mizzou, NC State, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
For Friday’s big decision, it came down to Notre Dame, Indiana, Wisconsin and Virginia Tech.
