The Big Ten Conference released the revised 2020 schedules Saturday morning on FOX Sports. The conference decided this past week that it would start its 8-game schedule on October 23 and 24 to hopefully eventually play in the College Football Playoff.
Yes, the Big Ten was the first Power 5 conference to cancel the season earlier this year, but it’s back now. Thankfully, the players get to live out their dreams on the field this season.
Fans took issue with one aspect of the schedule announcement Saturday morning, too — Ohio State’s schedule. Yes, the Buckeyes play Michigan and Penn State, and specifically the game against the Nittany Lions may decide the Big Ten Championship. That happens in the second week of the season.
Below is Ohio State’s full schedule:
- October 24 vs. Nebraska
- October 31 at Penn State
- November 7 vs. Rutgers
- November 14 at Maryland
- November 21 vs. Indiana
- November 28 at Illinois
- December 5 at Michigan State
- December 12 vs. Michigan
Social media jabbed the Buckeyes after the release, saying the schedule is a cakewalk:

Start the conspiracy theories that Ohio State got an easier schedule compared to PSU and Mich because they were the catalyst in bringing back Big Ten football.
