Oklahoma adds new home-and-home series to schedule for 2024, 2028, per report

Oklahoma and Houston are both in the Big 12 for the 2023 season. The schools have reportedly made plans to meet in the future as nonconference opponents.
College football insider Brett McMurphy of the Action Network shared Friday that Oklahoma and Houston have agreed to a home-and-home series. The 2024 meeting will take place in Norman, filling a spot on OU’s schedule. The 2028 meeting is set for Houston.

OU still has 1 spot to fill on its 2024 schedule. The Sooners are set to host Temple on Aug. 31, 2024, and Tulane on Sept. 14. Oklahoma’s 2024 SEC schedule features Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee at home, with road trips to Auburn, LSU, Missouri and Ole Miss. Oklahoma’s annual Red River Rivalry showdown with Texas in Dallas is also on the schedule for 2024.
The 2024 SEC schedule does not yet have dates.
