While much chaos ensued during Week 7’s College Football Saturday, Ole Miss avoided much of that by cruising to a 31-3 win over Missouri in Oxford.

The Rebels managed to keep a 1 in the loss column, an increasingly impressive feat as weeks go by in a 9-game SEC schedule. That momentum carried over off the field on Sunday, as Pete Golding & Co. received some more good news in the form of a flipped commitment from a highly touted prospect.

Rivals’ Adam Gorney reported that 4-star tight end Rahzario Edwards, who was previously committed to California, has now changed his verbal pledge to join the Rebels.

A Class of 2027 prospect, Edwards hails from Sacramento, California, and had been committed to Tosh Lupoi and the Golden Bears program ever since he visited them in late May.

But now, Edwards appears to be taking his talents across the country to Oxford, Mississippi, where he’ll likely become another dynamic target within the Rebels’ offense at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds.

Playing for Grant Union High School, Edwards also holds offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Miami, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee and USC. He plays basketball as a two-sport star as well.
