Ole Miss lands commitment from JUCO WR, brother of Malik Willis

Ole Miss has added a wide receiver to its 2024 recruiting class.
Marquis Willis, younger brother of NFL quarterback Malik Willis, announced Saturday that he plans to play for the Rebels. The younger Willis currently plays for Coahoma Community College in Mississippi. He was in Oxford for the “Juice Fest” recruiting weekend put on by Lane Kiffin’s staff.

Willis played high school football at Roswell (Georgia) in the Atlanta area. He was a 3-star ATH prospect on Rivals in the 2021 recruiting class, but instead landed at Northeast Georgia Prep, per The Rebel Walk.
Coahoma’s roster lists Willis as measuring 6-3, 218 pounds. As a freshman, he had 20 catches for 281 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 2022 season. On Oct. 22, Willis played quarterback against Northeast Mississippi CC, going 14-of-22 passing for 160 yards, 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
