Tommy Kinsler IV received an offer from Ole Miss while in high school before ultimately signing with Miami.
He’ll now end up playing for the Rebels after all.
Kinsler, who spent three years with the Hurricanes program, has committed to Ole Miss out of the transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reports. Kinsler will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
After a 2023 campaign that saw him redshirt after playing in one game, Kinsler’s role expanded in 2024 as he appeared in 10 games for the Hurricanes. In 2025, he saw time in 10 games, including the College Football Playoff National Championship Game against Indiana.
He then entered the transfer portal and took official visits to Auburn and Ole Miss before deciding to play for the Rebels. Now, Kinsler will head to Oxford, where he’ll certainly play a big role in Ole Miss’s offensive front in 2026.
That now makes 28 transfers in this cycle for Pete Golding and the Rebels, as Ole Miss’s head coach continues to be active in bringing in players ahead of his first full season as the program’s head coach. Kinsler is the fourth offensive line commitment, joining Troy Everett (Oklahoma), Enoch Wangoy (Florida), and Carius Curne (LSU).
