Following the SEC’s lead: The Pac-12 will reportedly push back the start date of its football season
The Southeastern Conference reportedly won’t be the only one pushing back the start of its upcoming football season.
One day after the SEC made the decision to push back the start of the season to Saturday, Sept. 26, the Pac-12 has reportedly made the same exact decision and will start its upcoming football season on Sept. 26.
News of the Pac-12’s decision was first reported by Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports!
The Pac-12 previously announced it was shifting to a conference-only schedule for the 2020 season, which canceled upcoming non-conference matchups between Alabama and USC in Arlington and Texas A&M and Colorado in College Station.
While not official, it does not appear those games will be made up anytime soon.
