ESPN’s College GameDay came to a close in dramatic fashion early Saturday afternoon.

As always, Pat McAfee closed the show with his pick for the game of the day. After initially talking up Vanderbilt, McAfee pivoted and picked the Crimson Tide to avenge their loss to the Commodores from last season.

McAfee, as he often does, then stood on his chair and hyped up the Alabama faithful standing behind the GameDay set. Nick Saban joined him moments later for a rendition of ‘Roll Tide.’

Here’s a clip from the moment on GameDay:

Guest picker Theo Von picked Vanderbilt — the only College GameDay panelist to do so this week. Von has ties to Vanderbilt and was a controversial choice to be the guest picker in Tuscaloosa this weekend.

Vanderbilt has not won on the road at Alabama since 1984. The Commodores are looking for their second straight win over Alabama following their historic 40-35 upset over the Crimson Tide last season.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
