Blake Countess has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles for the fourth time in his NFL career. The Eagles announced the signing of Countess on Monday.

Countess, who played at Michigan before joining Auburn as a graduate transfer in 2015, was selected by Philadelphia in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Countess did not make the roster of camp and was let go as part of final cuts ahead of the 2016 season.

Countess landed on the Los Angeles Rams practice squad in 2016 and was with the team until May 2019 when he was waived. He returned to Philadelphia, but only for a brief stay as he was waived by the Eagles that August.

Countess landed with the New York Jets in October 2019. The Jets released him in March 2020.

Countess signed to the Eagles practice squad, his third stint with the club, in December 2020. He made two appearances on the active roster on Dec. 19 and Jan. 2. He was then let go on March 9.

Countess has played in 45 games over five seasons, recording 53 tackles, 2 interceptions and a sack.
