While Kyler Murray continues to get buzz as the likely choice to be taken No. 1 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, it would be unwise to read into speculation this time of year, as misinformation is never as popular as it is right now on the NFL calendar.

That being said, one thing that should carry some weight more than perhaps anything else this time of year, is the meeting schedules teams have with players. Especially when it’s the team that possesses the No. 1 overall pick, as they get to dictate the top of the draft, unlike any other franchise.

If that is indeed the case, it’s good news for Quinnen Williams, as the Alabama lineman is scheduled to meet with the Cardinals on Thursday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. Arizona is also meeting with Ohio State’s Nick Bosa, meaning both defensive linemen will have an opportunity to wow the Cardinals and this latest meeting could go a long way in determining which player the team selects first overall.

Williams declared for the 2019 NFL Draft following his redshirt sophomore season in which he won the Outland Trophy and was named a unanimous First-Team All-American selection.
