Reaction predictably targets Tate Martell’s next move after he loses Miami QB competition
By Keith Farner

Miami QB Tate Martell brought attention to himself when he wrote a tweet that cryptically seemed to call out Georgia transfer Justin Fields when Martell, then at Ohio State, got wind that Fields was on his way to Columbus.
As Fields arrived at Ohio State, Martell soon transferred to Miami.
Now that Martell has lost the quarterback competition at Miami, after he did what Fields did to Ohio State, plenty of reaction is pouring in with the same sentiment: Don’t swing and miss, especially not your second time.
Jarren Williams won the competition for the Hurricanes, who open the season against Florida. N’Kosi Perry also competed for the starting QB job.
There were several comments about Martell getting back to the transfer portal in no time.
At least Tate Martell went from sitting on a cold bench in Ohio to a warm bench in Miami

Just as we all envisioned in 2016, Nick Starkel will start for Arkansas and Tate Martell will be on the bench in Miami. pic.twitter.com/FLyVfxxjuD

Jarren Williams will start at quarterback for Miami. No sign of Tate Martell in the transfer portal yet (kidding) https://t.co/YyrIJ9WZmy

So Tate Martell left OSU only to be named 3rd stringer after warning Justin Fields? Interesting
