Ready for Week 1? Miami QB D’Eriq King shares thoughts on injured knee after first practice

The Miami Hurricanes have officially started fall camp and will work hard to prepare for their Week 1 matchup against Alabama on Sept. 4.
The biggest question mark for the Hurricanes ahead of that matchup in Atlanta is the health of QB D’Eriq King.
As you can see below, he was a full participant in practice on Friday and looked pretty good going through drills:

After the session, King spoke to reporters, saying his injured knee feels pretty good:
D’Eriq King: “My knee feels fine…it feels pretty good…I’m glad I got to be able to go out there.”

Coach Manny Diaz also shared his thoughts on King. He said he was happy to see King take off and run a couple of times during practice, showing confidence in the knee:

King is looking like he’s on track to play against Alabama in Week 1. How effective will he be against the Tide’s elite defense?
