After leaving Florida, CB Teez Tabor was a Round 2 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, going to the Detroit Lions.
He spent 2 seasons in Detroit, then was released ahead of the 2019 season. That’s when he caught on with the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad, where he spent the 2019 campaign.
Now, he’s on the hunt for another new team, as the 49ers announced on Monday that they had waived Tabor. Per NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero, Tabor is dealing with a Jones fracture, but is expected to be ready for Week 1 if signed by another team:
Teez Tabor suffered a Jones fracture while participating in a virtual workout and already had surgery, source said. On track to be ready to play, for someone, before Week 1. https://t.co/hCuPbDKpwL

Tabor didn’t record any stats in 2019. In his 2 years with the Lions, he had 42 total tackles in 22 career games (5 starts).
Where he ends up next remains to be seen.
