The lawsuit filed by former Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt against the university was settled earlier this season, but the details of the agreement were not made public at the time.

Now, according to a Freedom of Information Act request made by DJournal.com, the terms have been uncovered.

According to the report, Nutt will not get the $500,000 he originally asked for to form an integrity commission for college athletics in Mississippi, but the matter is closed:

The agreement states that neither side will sue the other and that each side will pay its own bills.

Nutt โ€œdischarges and releasesโ€ all claims including โ€œcompensatory and punitive damages, attorney fees and expenses and all costs of litigation.โ€

The university agrees to the same.

As Ole Miss awaits punishment from the NCAA in a different case, the Rebels are probably glad to have the Nutt issue settled.

What happens with the NCAA ruling remains to be seen, but at least one issue within the athletic department has been settled.
