Former Tennessee CB Justin Coleman has had an interesting NFL career, winning Super Bowl LI with the New England Patriots before heading to the Seattle Seahawks the past two years.
Now, he’s set for a big payday — one that will make him the highest-paid nickel corner in the NFL.
Per a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Coleman will sign with the Detroit Lions for $36 million over the next four years:
The #Lions are signing nickel CB Justin Coleman to a 4-year deal worth $36M, source said. The highest paid nickel in the NFL for the former #Seahawk.

Coleman has three career interceptions, all with the Seahawks. He had one in 2018 and two in 2017 (returning both of those for touchdowns).
For a player who went undrafted out of Tennessee back in 2015, this is a great payday. Now, we’ll see how he fares in Detroit.
