Manning went 39-5 in his Volunteer career and also had a historic NFL career. Spurrier coached for 26 years, winning the 1996 national championship with Florida.
According to an ESPN.com story from June, Marshall Faulk, Tony Gonzalez, Eric Crouch, Rashaan Salaam and Matt Leinart, among others, were also finalists from this year’s class and could join Spurrier and Manning as inductees.
